Happy Mother’s Day everyone.
We’ve had a lovely day so far – took my precious mama to our church this morning and received a lovely gift, coffee and hand massages from the younger women of the congregation after the service. I love our church!
We are now waiting for the leg of lamb in the oven to be done for our Mother’s Day lunch. My beautiful sis and brother’n’law are over and are currently doing a Whole 30 – which is hard core Paleo for those of you who don’t know. No wine, no cheese, no fun for those two. Except, they brought the appetisers today and what a delicious spread. Oodles of freshly chopped veggies (zucchini sticks, cucumber, carrots, capsicum) with some home made guacamole. It was so tasty we ran out of dip so I made up a bit more with an improvised version – smashed guacamole, tomato, salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, lime juice and a liberal dashing of tobasco – no fresh coriander to hand but gee it was still tasty!
Hope you are all having a lovely day. Here’s to our mums 🙂
